After years in California, our clients returned home to Maryland to be closer to family and put down roots of their own. Their first house became the setting for a new chapter—one that soon included welcoming their first baby.

We wanted the home to feel warm, collected and personal: a place for quiet mornings, family dinners, curling up with a book and, now, the everyday rhythms of life with a new baby. Layered patterns, soft color, vintage-inspired details and meaningful pieces give the rooms a sense of history, while keeping them relaxed enough for the life unfolding within them.

It’s a home designed not simply around how it looks, but around the moments that will happen there for years to come.
